However, because of poor health which will require long term care, they face financial ruin. In advising the elderly and the disabled, the elder law bar enables their clients to retain their dignity.

An easy way to educate the public about Elder Law and the attorneys who practice in this legal specialty is by presenting seminars and speeches. Most counties have an Office on Aging or an Area Agency on Aging which are connected with senior organizations throughout the area.

These senior clubs often need speakers . Elder Law attorneys can obtain lists of these senior organ-izations and reach out to them. If members of the Elder Law bar tell their individual stories to these organizations, the club members can be expected to relate those stories to their friends.

In this new decade, Elder Law Attorneys are relying more on their internet websites and various social media accounts to get in touch with the public.
